The theme for 22nd February is the National Living Wage which is being introduced on 1st April 2016.

Do you employ anyone age 25 or over?

Do you currently pay them less than £7.20 an hour?

Then this is going to affect you.

Do you know the difference between the National Living Wage and the National Minimum Wage?

What deductions from wages do you make that might impact on your compliance with both?  Are you aware of the consequences of paying less than both?

Also, if you have a staging date for auto enrolling staff into a pension scheme and you pay wages weekly have you thought about the additional cost and time in meeting the requirements for your pension scheme?
